I like the colours in this series, green, green and green. It works because of the contrast.
I find it hard to pick a favourite between these two designs.

Yesterday the designs were red and white applique, today they are green pieced.
The design above is my favourite today.
Today there are areas that quilting could be added, yesterday the quilting designs I would use are there.

Mostly simple piecing, reusing many of the same shapes for every block. These sorts of designs would be made easier for beginners by making less blocks in bigger sizes, which means some play time for me to see what some 3×3 and 5×5 designs would look like.
My favourite of these two is the first one.

Another project file with five fabrics in a similar colours range, but with enough contrast to show the overall design.
I prefer the second design. It just needs some yellow/gold to represent the national colours of Australia.

A few years ago I started a heap of block design projects, and they can be identified by the colours I used … this is one of them!
